Things to Do in Spain

When you vacation in Spain, you have the chance to experience many different cultures.  Each part of Spain is vastly different from the next, which makes it an exciting place to visit.  Every part of Spain is true to itself and its culture, which makes it an incredible treat.

Meet the Monkeys

When people go to a zoo, they typically visit animals that are in cages.  There is not any real interaction between the animals and the visitors.  At the Tenerife Zoo Monkey Park in Los Cristianos, they have thrown out the rules that govern many zoos.  They allow monkeys and visitors to roam and interact together.  This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to visit and be a part of the habitat of monkeys.  You can touch them, and they will even jump on you.

The Beach and History

What do you do when you want to visit historic sites but your kids want to go to the beach?  There is a compromise available, and it is in Torremolinos.  When you visit La Carihuela, you can walk through the former fishermen’s district.  This is now a historic area and there are many things to see.

When you stroll down the streets, you will come up to one landmark after another.  You don’t need a tour guide.  All you need are your feet and your eyes and you will be able to have a wonderful time.

You can then head down to the beach and spend the day or even longer if you get one of our beach rentals.  This is a great beach that you can enjoy.  You will be able to sit back on the sand and relax or splash around in the water. 

If you tire of the beach, you can always go back into town and look at more of the historical sites.  You will have a lot to do when you visit this area.

Don’t Forget to Relax

When you are in Spain, it can be hard to remember to relax because you are having so much fun.  However, the time will come when you will need to recharge.  That is when it is time to head to Madrid.  You can go to the Retiro Park.  Sit and relax around the lake.   You will be able to just enjoy being in Spain.  The quiet time can help you get rejuvenated for the other attractions you want to see.
