Our vacation rentals will also give you the peace and quiet you want on vacation.  Don’t spend your time worrying about noisy neighbors or other things associated with staying in a hotel.  Instead, get one of our great rentals by some of the many attractions in Germany.

Beautiful Sites

When you go to Germany, you need to be prepared to see many beautiful things.  The country is known for its ability to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary.  If you like to see art and architecture, this is the vacation for you.

If you get one of our vacation rentals in Munich, be sure to visit the Marienplatz (The Square of Our Lady).  You can go shopping when at the square, but most of all, be sure to take in the amazing statue of the Virgin Mary.  Mary will be looking down on you as you go from shop to shop.  The statue was constructed in 1638 and still stands tall to this day.  It is a local favorite, and tourists also come by to see the beautiful craftsmanship that went into making the statue.

Also, stop by the Residenz, which is the Royal Palace in Munich.  This is a 14th century palace that housed Wittelsbach dukes in the past.  You can tour the grounds, as well as the palace itself.  You will be amazed by the detail that went into constructing both the interior and exterior of the palace.

Interesting History

If you are in Furtwangen, be sure to stop by the Clock Museum.  This is a one of a kind museum that showcases many different kinds and styles of clocks.

Take a look at the Jewish Museum in Frankfurt.  This will give a look at Frankfurt’s Jewish Quarter, which used to be the second largest Jewish community in Germany.  That was before World War II changed everything.

This will offer you a unique look into the lives of those in the Jewish community prior to the Holocaust.  You will be able to look through photographs and books so you will have a better understanding of how the community was before the country tried to rip it apart.  You will be struck by how the events of the Holocaust managed to rip the community apart.

This is just a small representation of the many things you can do while in Germany.  German culture is rich with history, and you will be able to take that history in with one of our great rentals.

Allow yourself to have a great trip to Germany.  Get one of our vacation rentals so you don’t miss out on the things you want to do.
