If you love going gambling, check out King’s Casino in St. John’s.  This casino not only has the normal games, it also hosts a poker tournament.  The tournament is well known in the area and a favorite.

Take a Relaxing Walk

If you want to unwind during your vacation, be sure to stop by the Botanical Gardens in St. John’s.  You will be able to walk around and enjoy the beauty in the gardens.  This is a great way to take a break and just enjoy your surroundings.

Visit History

At Betty’s Hope in St. John’s you will be able to see a sugar plantation.  The plantation was built in 1674 and it is still standing in order to send a powerful message to tourists and residents alike.  It stands today so no one will forget the slaves that had to work at the plantation.
